A new Ambassador to Saving America’s Horses!
Wild for Life Foundation is pleased to welcome Calamity Cate Crismani as an Ambassador to “Saving America’s Horses”. Calamity Cate is recognized the world over as the publisher of True Cowboy Magazine, a dedicated advocate for the horses and also as one of the key speakers in the landmark film “Saving America’s Horses”. But what most people may not realize is that Calamity Cate charitably donates a tremendous amount of exposure to many equine welfare organizations that work tirelessly for the protection of horses in need.
Wild for Life Foundation extends our appreciation to Calamity Cate Crismani for her for generous contributions to “Saving America’s Horses” the movie and “Lifetime Equine Refuge”, WFLF’s equine rescue and sanctuary program. In recognition of Calamity’s ongoing benevolence we are delighted to welcome and honor her as an Ambassador to “Saving America’s Horses”.
Calamity has owned and been around horses her whole life and she understands that each horse is unique and vibrant; each has something to teach us, each is kind and gentle. “As a responsible horse owner and lover, each of us must do our part to keep our horses safe and healthy. If you must sell your horse or give it away, have a clause in the contract that your horse is returned to you if the new owner can no longer maintain him or her”, explains Crismani. Calamity says “the vicious slaughter of our horses is a looming threat stateside for them and we must work hard to eradicate any possibility of horse slaughter for human consumption, or any reason, in the United States and doubly hard to stop their transportation to Mexico for slaughter”, says Cate Crismani.
Calamity Cate Crismani: Publisher True Cowboy Magazine, Writer and a marketing professional in the equine industry; horse trainer and Thoroughbred owner.

Stand With Us for the Horses!
Stand With Us for the Horses!
The fight to end horse slaughter has gone on for well over a decade in the U.S. with protective legislation introduced each congressional session; only to be later squelched as a result of the powerful lobby that is pushing to reopen horse slaughter plants in America. In order to effect change, we have combined the compelling truth backed by documented evidence into the world's most powerful visual resource, cinema. "Saving America's Horses - A Nation Betrayed" is the lifesaving documentary film that can change everything for our horses. Plans are being put into action to bring this extremely powerful film resource to the policymakers and to the public at large with distribution targeted for 2012.
Individuals, businesses, groups and organizations are urged to help the horses. You can take an active role to protect the horses through "Saving America's Horses" and also gain wide exposure for your efforts.
