"Beautiful and awe inspiring," says Debra Lopez, AATV. "A beautiful and powerful way to share information, educate and raise awareness," says Mario James, Humanion Films.

The new clip is suited for all audiences and it features "Good Will Ambassador, Bing Bush Jr.", cast members, Susan Wagner, Beverly Strauss, the Disney Kids and more. Plus it includes brand new footage and just released scenes from the movie.

SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES NYC TEAM MEMBERS
SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES moves NYC and LA audiences, touching hearts and inspiring change. The film initially opened in theaters with a full theatrical rollout in December, at the Quad Cinema in New York City and a full weeks' qualifying run at Leammle's Playhouse 7 in Los Angeles.

Sponsorship opportunities are now available for a wider release in 2013, to include theater showings in major markets, event showings and town hall presentations. Following a traditional distribution plan to reach as wide an audience as possible, the film will then move into distribution through television/ cable and DVD. The NYC opening event kicked off with a Peter Max Reception on Dec 6th where Peter's most recent creation, a new painting of Bobby II Freedom, a NYC carriage horse that was rescued from slaughter, was auctioned off to benefit Wild for Life Foundation's SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES. Proceeds from the auctioned artwork will  help widen the audience and support for this important documentary film project. The reception was well attended - guests enjoyed meeting and mingling with Peter and Mary Max, filmmaker Katia Louise, and cast from the film. 

Filmmaker Katia Louise and attending cast appeared for the opening festivities, Dec 7th and 8th, where viewers unanimously urged for much stronger promotion and wider release of SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES.

SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES: A NATION BETRAYED is a cause driven educational film project under Wild for Life Foundation, a 501c3 grassroots all volunteer charity dedicated to saving, protecting and preserving equines. Dec 10, 2012, Los Angeles, Legendary pop artist Peter Max creates a brand new painting to benefit Wild for Life Foundation's "SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES. The painting valued at $16,000 was auctioned off at the Kick-off Reception for the film's NYC Release and Premiere on Dec 6th. Funds raised will go directly to Wild for Life Foundation for the purpose of helping to bring the film to a wider release.

The NYC Kick off Reception for the film was well attended and celebrated by many including some of the east coasts most prominent equine welfare groups such as the  ASPCA, Equine Advocates, NYCLASS and more. "We are so pleased for the wide showing of support," said Katia Louise, WFLF. "We are looking forward to the prospect of collaborating further with these groups and others as we work to get this important message out to the masses."

Wild for Life Foundation is pleased to congratulate the lucky new owner of Peter's artwork; Valerie Angeli of the ASPCA! Valerie is also an avid supporter of "SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES".

Fifteen-year-old gelding Bobby II Freedom, a New York carriage horse was days from death in PA, before Equine Advocates brought him to sanctuary. Peter Max volunteered to paint a portrait of the horse and Peter's portrait of “Bobby II Freedom” is featured in the film "Saving America’s Horses: A Nation Betrayed". When news came that the film was scheduled to open in NYC, Peter and Mary Max graciously offered their art studio to host the reception in celebration of the event. In effort to raise more support, Peter generously created a brand new portrait of Bobby II Freedom to auction off at the reception for the film.

Peter Max is creating a brand new portrait of Bobby II Freedom, a New York carriage horse that was rescued from slaughter by Equine Advocates.  This original painting will be auctioned off during the Peter Max party for SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES.
