"Beautiful and awe inspiring," says Debra Lopez, AATV. "A beautiful and powerful way to share information, educate and raise awareness," says Mario James, Humanion Films.

The new clip is suited for all audiences and it features "Good Will Ambassador, Bing Bush Jr.", cast members, Susan Wagner, Beverly Strauss, the Disney Kids and more. Plus it includes brand new footage and just released scenes from the movie.

SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES NYC TEAM MEMBERS

SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES moves NYC and LA audiences, touching hearts and inspiring change. The film initially opened in theaters with a full theatrical rollout in December, at the Quad Cinema in New York City and a full weeks' qualifying run at Leammle's Playhouse 7 in Los Angeles.

Sponsorship opportunities are now available for a wider release in 2013, to include theater showings in major markets, event showings and town hall presentations. Following a traditional distribution plan to reach as wide an audience as possible, the film will then move into distribution through television/ cable and DVD. Community members and groups from across the country are joining together as never before to help raise the support needed to put “SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES” in theaters in 2012.   

The Triumph Project, Bing Bush, Wild Horse Freedom Federation, Stable Woman Gazette, Animals Angels, the Canadian Horse Defense Coalition, Kaufman Zoning and Equine Welfare Alliance have joined together with the R.A.C.E. FUND, True Cowboy Magazine, Horseback Magazine, Animal Advocate TV, IMA Studios and Americans Against Horse Slaughter to raise awareness and support for Wild for Life Foundation's campaign to bring SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES to the public with a bi coastal release this year.

STAR San Diego meets SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES

Wild for Life Foundation is pleased to share in the news about members and guests of STAR San Diego, (Strategic Trusted Advisors Roundtable) gathering for an insightful presentation by  Filmmaker, Katia Louise and Good Will Ambassador, Bing Bush, Jr., of "SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES - A Nation Betrayed", on Wed, August 15th in La Jolla. Attendees were also treated to a new cut of the official film trailer which features gorgeous footage of both Thoroughbreds and wild horses from the movie.

The event  brought together more than one hundred of San Diego's best and brightest professional advisers who average more than twenty years of professional experience in their respective fields of practice.  The audience was engaged by the thought provoking presentation which was news to pretty much everyone in the room, " said Richard Muscio, STAR  San Diego.

Ms. Louise presented on the preservation of wild horses in America and several key points as associated with horse slaughter including toxic health risks to humans, economic and environmental devastation and criminal animal cruelty. "The criminal element and level of corruption that exists within the horse slaughter industry is well established and contributes significantly to the lack of law enforcement that would otherwise protect equines of all breeds and disciplines, from this predatory trade," said Katia Louise. "The capture, removal, transport and stockpiling of both wild and domestic horses to be slaughtered for their meat is a humanitarian issue that affects socioeconomics, the environment and human health on a global level."

Mr. Bush presented on the relationship of horse slaughter to the Thoroughbred racing industry. "If we compare the number of Thoroughbreds in the United States that were sent to slaughter each year, from 2005 to present, and compared those numbers to the number of Thoroughbred foals in the US, we would see that  a staggering 68 to 79% have been slaughtered during that time each year," said Bing Bush, Jr. "The National Thoroughbred Racing Association should support the American Horse Slaughter Prevention Act (SB1176 & HR2966) which would prohibit the shipping, transporting, moving, delivering, receiving, possessing, purchasing, selling, or donation of horses and other equines to be slaughtered for human consumption."
