Match the Good Challenge for North America's Horses

We are pleased to announce that horse advocate donor, Victoria (Vicky) Hailey of Canada has stepped forward to challenge supporters and friends of "Saving America's Horses" to make a big difference by kicking off the Match the Good Challenge. Vicky Hailey is a supporter of the Canadian Horse Defense Coalition and a member of the WFLF Saving America's Horses Equine Protection program. She believes in "Saving America's Horses' ability to make the end of horse slaughter for domestic and wild equines a reality on both sides of the border.

Longtime horse advocate Vicky Hailey is now calling on fellow Canadian horse lovers to donate what they can in the next 72 hours. She has pledged to donate $2500 in support of launching "Saving America's Horses" the lifesaving film in Canada and she is asking our friends to help by matching or topping her donation.

What good will a contribution of $5,000 or more do? Your gift will help bring this extremely compelling film resource to the policymakers and to the public at large. Your donation can boost the distribution of this film to the masses by helping to pay for pending licensing and digital to film processing, and for a film rating, among many other possibilities.

Huntsville Ontario is set to be the screen's Premiere location in Canada, but we want to show this film in as many venues as possible, get it broadcast on television and released to DVD. All these things cost money and your kind donation will help make it happen. Donate now at the film website, www.savingamericashorses.org or by mail to the address below and you will be part of history in the making.

Thank you for your continued support on behalf of the horses. By helping to spread the word and tell your friends about WFLF's "Saving America's Horses", you are giving the horses the voice they so very much deserve.

For Immediate Release

(Los Angeles, CA, August 31, 2011)
Fatally Betrayed Equines: Katia Louise's Saving America's Horses

We are extremely honored that Supreme Master TV (SMTV) is bringing the story of "Saving America's Horses" to the world's attention. This exclusive interview with filmmaker Katia Louise is combined into an investigative report by SMTV on the most serious cruelties inflicted upon both wild and domestic horses. Their report includes slaughter footage and other scenes NOT included in the movie "Saving America's Horses". Their coverage will surely raise awareness around the world for the horses.

"I just watched the SMTV report myself for the first time today," said Katia Louise, "I've done investigations, researched this for years and I've witnessed most every equine cruelty, but even though I provided the interview for this segment; the way that SMTV put this together, it still brought me to tears".  SMTV reaches compassionate animal lovers and viewers from around the world who before this coverage most likely knew nothing about what happens to the wild and domestic horses of America.

We caution those sensitive to witnessing graphic imagery to be aware that SMTV takes a no-holds-barred approach to covering the issue of horse slaughter. Visuals obtained through other sources are layered alongside the exclusive on camera interview with Katia Louise as she underscores the need for equine protection.  It's a heartfelt interview that will educate and move people at their core.
