Madeleine Pickens of Mustang Monument and Saving America's Mustangs joins cast of SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES - A NATION BETRAYED.

Wild for Life Foundation is pleased to announce that Madeleine Pickens has joined the cast of speakers in the highly anticipated film, SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES A NATION BETRAYED. As the founder of Mustang Monument in Nevada, Madeleine brings a fresh look at the prospect of preserving wild horses on America's open rangelands. Filmmaker Katia Louise recently met with Mrs. Pickens for her on camera interview in Del Mar, California.

"It's an honor to partner together with Madeleine and Saving America's Mustangs," says Katia Louise. "We are thrilled to have SAM on board as an official contributor to the project." SAM's footage of their rescued slaughter bound wild horses will be featured in the film."

SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES A NATION BETRAYED illuminates the connection between the eradication of our wild and domestic equines, its impact on the environment and the future of humanity. The film captivates its audience by exploring the majesty of the horse, the freedom they represent, the value of that freedom and what it means to life. The mission of SAVING AMERICA’S HORSES is to break the cycle of animal cruelty for America’s horses by providing a life changing resource that cultivates action and inspires social change.

SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES is currently showcasing through festivals and has won several awards including Best Documentary in Los Angeles and Best Environmental Film in Canada.

“Saving America’s Horses – A Nation Betrayed is a must see film for anyone who cares about a horse."

Madeleine Pickens started her career in horse racing in 1983; a passion she shared with her late husband and Gulfstream Aerospace founder, Allen E. Paulson. They achieved enormous success in racing and to this day, still hold the record for the leader of the most ‘Breeder’s Cup’ champion horses and earnings. Madeleine is still breeding a few racehorses, but adamantly opposes horse slaughter and the use of the drugs in these animals.

In 2005, she married Legendary Energy and Texas Oilman, T. Boone Pickens. It was when she met him that she decided the satisfaction of philanthropy and making a difference in the world was most important to her. In 2009, as founder of Saving America’s Mustangs, she began developing an eco-sanctuary in Northern Nevada called Mustang Monument. It will be a permanent home and living museum where visitors can stay on the land and see their horses roaming free in the wild.

SAVING AMERICA’S HORSES - NATION BETRAYED is geared for the conscience consumer and suitable for all audiences; people want to see this film get the widest distribution possible. Learn how to help by partnering with SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES - A NATION BETRAYED.
