Los Angeles, May 4, 2013, There’s nothing stronger than
Willie Nelson's love of horses, and this legendary singer and songwriter, who is also a speaker in the movie, SAVING AMERICA’S
HORSES; A NATION BETRAYED, is helping to launch WFLF’s movie poster fund raiser
to help bring the message of this important film to more people.
“I'm a little prejudiced when it
comes to horses. I have always loved them,” says Willie. “When horse accepted man onto his
back and chose to carry his burdens, it changed the world.”
“The film is the mouthpiece for
America’s wild and domestic horses and burros,” says filmmaker Katia Louise.
“It speaks on behalf of equine welfare for all breeds and all disciplines.”
The Willie Nelson autographed
movie poster will be auctioned off on EBay beginning May 16th to help raise
awareness and launch this fund raiser. 100% of the proceeds from the posters
will go to SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES!

AMERICA’S HORSES; A NATION BETRAYED unites the largest collaborative initiative
and consortium of the most notable and leading equine experts including
scientists, researchers, investigators, veterinarians, trainers, breeders,
jockeys, equine welfare experts, policymakers and celebrities and sheds light
on the political, scientific, and legal implications of the current
international equine issues.
The 91 minute feature documentary
has won multiple awards in the festival circuit including Best
Documentary Film in Los Angeles and Best Environmental Film in Canada. SAVING
AMERICA’S HORSES also qualified for Oscar consideration through a Bi Coastal
Theatrical Release in December, 2012, which garnered high-profile reviews and
press coverage for the cause.
