We remain steadfast in our dedication to our mission of Saving America’s Horses, no matter the major changes and challenges which have continued to impact all of us over the last several months. 

SAVING AMERICA’S HORSES is a multimedia educational project under the Wild For Life Foundation charity (WFLF).  With support through GlobalGiving, we are able to expand our reach to more animal lovers, horse enthusiasts and a wider community at large, to help spread the word about the vital need to save and protect America's Horses from unspeakable suffering, malicious harm, and gruesome death.

Every day, countless horses’ and burros’ lives are lost to inhumane and needless killing that can be prevented; this killing additionally places human lives at risk, contributes to toxic waste and global warming.  It remains our mission to see that this becomes a thing of the past.    

Through SAVING AMERICA’S HORSES, we spotlight the imminent and urgent health risks to humans and the environmental impact caused by the capture, removal, transport and stockpiling of both wild and domestic horses that are slaughtered for human consumption.

The SAVING AMERICA’S HORSES project brings important facts to the benefit of public interests and inspires civic engagement by showing how existing laws that are meant to protect the horses, people and the environment are being run over.  

SAVING AMERICA’S HORSES also raises awareness for the protection of America’s wild equines as an indigenous species to North America. Support for this project helps efforts to assure the continued defunding of horse slaughter in the U.S., and it supports equine rescue and recovery efforts for America’s at-risk horses and burros.

We all have been impacted by some major changes and challenges over the last few months. But no matter what goes on in the world around us, we have not wavered from our mission of Saving America's Horses.  

Every day, countless horses’ and burros’ lives are lost to inhumane and needless killing that can be prevented; this killing additionally places human lives at risk, contributes to toxic waste and global warming.  It remains our mission to see that this becomes a thing of the past.   

Through Saving America’s Horses we spotlight the imminent and urgent health risks to humans and the environmental impact caused by the capture, removal, transport and stockpiling of both wild and domestic horses that are slaughtered for human consumption.

SAVING AMERICA’S HORSES tells the story of how one of America’s most treasured and iconic species struggles to survive in a world where two camps claim to be saving them; one that actually does, and the other that is instead found to be brutally exploiting them, eliminating them and driving them to extinction.   This project brings important facts to the benefit of public interests and increases civic engagement through showing how certain government agencies and special interests groups run over existing laws that are meant to protect the horses, people and the environment.

SAVING AMERICA’S HORSES brings the truth to the public about the corrupt removal of America’s wild horses from America’s open rangelands, and the need for their protection from slaughter, and it reveals how the public has been misled by special interest groups that run over the laws that are supposed to protect the horses, people and the environment.

Every day, countless horses’ and burros’ lives are lost to inhumane and needless killing that can be prevented; this killing additionally places human lives at risk, contributes to toxic waste and global warming, and it is our mission to see that this becomes a thing of the past. 

As the number of at risk horses and burros continues to rise, the need for their protection continues to grow.  But the public can help stop the cruelty and end the killing by helping to spotlight the truth about what’s really happening. The demand for truth and the need for ethical and moral justice have never been greater.  Saving America’s Horses answers these demands and more.  It’s not just about the horses; it’s about how we as a society exist, our footprint on the world and the future of our planet and the legacy we leave behind.
