Ken Wahl lends his voice and joins the Film as an Honorary Board Member for Saving America's Horses A Nation Betrayed!
Ken Wahl is helping rescue horses from horse slaughter and has been active toward supporting the bills to stop horse slaughter for quite some time. He offered to lend his voice when he heard about WFLF’s recent rescue efforts digging horses out of mud during all the rains. Ken is best known for his Golden Globe Award for his lead role as Vinnie Terranova in the hit television series Wiseguy. Wahl's first key role was as the lead character of Richie Genaro, the head of a Bronx street gang, in The Wonderers and two movies later he appeared alongside his onscreen hero Paul Newman in the explosive cop drama Fort Apache the Bronx. Wahl went on to headline in several other films before sustaining a life-threatening neck injury in a motorcycle accident in 1992. Happily retired from Hollywood, Ken's two favorite interests are animal rescue and War Veteran charities. Ken works together with “Saving America’s Horses” Honorary Board Members, Shane and Sia Barbi to foster many animals from the shelters that would otherwise be killed. Through their work together they have successfully placed many of them in good homes. Wild for Life Foundation is honored to have Ken on board in support of the horses.

“I strongly applaud this important, straight-up film—it has the courage not to back down but to tell the un-whitewashed, miserable truth about horse slaughter”. -Julie Caramante, Animal Cruelty Investigator
